'62 Stratocaster type Pickups set

Our vintage-spec Stratocaster-style pickup is hand-wound with 42 AWG wire onto traditional vulcanized fiberboard bobbins, each pickup replicates the sweet, bell-like clarity and three-dimensional note separation of original early '60s single coils.
 
By utilizing Alnico II magnets instead of the standard Alnico V, this design offers a beautifully refined take on the classic '60s tone. The inherently softer magnetic pull of Alnico II rounds off any harsh, ice-pick highs, replacing them with a smooth, musical top-end sweetness and a warm, blooming midrange. The bass response remains rich and pillowy, while the overall compression is slightly more forgiving, allowing your guitar's natural acoustic woodiness to shine through.
 
These pickups are lightly wax-potted in a traditional paraffin and beeswax blend. This process tames unwanted microphonic feedback at higher gain or stage volumes without choking the open, dynamic response of the coils. Built with authentic cloth push-back hookup wire and available with an optional reverse-wound, reverse-polarity (RWRP) middle pickup for hum-canceling in positions two and four, this set offers an incredibly soulful, articulate, and civilised vintage Strat tone.
