Model I
Jura
'It has the soul of a ’60s Strat - but with endless sustain and a modern feel.'
Our Model I, Jura, was the first electric guitar that we launched and demonstrates the ethos of Peak Guitars. The standard specification showcases natural materials with a flame maple body, flame maple neck and ebony fingerboard. This is complemented with our unique wood veneer pickguard, although more traditional pickguards are available on request. The neck has a comfy soft C profile with the ebony fingerboard inlayed with our signature mother of pearl mountain inlay. The guitar is finished in oil for a natural look and silky smooth feel.
We only use high quality hardware, with the standard specification including a Schaller non-trem roller bridge and modern Gotoh 510 tuners to allow fine tuning and smooth operation. The guitar is fitted with a high quality 250k CTS pots giving nice even tapers and a Sprague Orange Drop capacitor.
Our hand wound vintage single coil pickups come as standard and are bright and punchy voiced on a mid '60s Strat. They give a solid bass response, a dynamic, woody character and with a fantastic snap in the high-end. Other pickups are available on request.
