Original Vintage tele pickup

Capturing the raw twang of the very earliest solid-body electrics, our original vintage tele sized pickup is a twist on the original designs from the early 1950s with Alnico II magnets preferred over the traditional Alnico III This swap softens the aggressive, sometimes harsh bite of the early '50s bridge position, replacing it with a sweeter, more musical tone, with a rich midrange and rounded top-end. The neck pickup benefits equally, offering a woody, flute-like warmth that is exceptionally clear and articulate.
 
These hand-wound pickups are lightly wax-potted in a traditional paraffin and beeswax blend. This  helps to remove microphonic feedback. Finished with authentic cloth push-back hookup wire, this is the ultimate upgrade for players seeking a thick, authoritative early '50s tone with a smoother, more forgiving response.
